CAMBER DEFINITION
is the maximum deviation from a datum line and a line passing through the leading and trailing edge of an airfoil. The datum line being a line running from the leading edge to the trailing edge and located midway between the upper and lower surface of the airfoil. A symmetrical airfoil has no camber. Increasing the camber of an airfoil will increase the maximum lift coefficient and shift the minimum drag point to a higher lift coefficient.
