    • Printer was assembled in under 3 hours
    • This shot shows a jig bracket being printed using PETG filament. Raft layer nearly complete
    • My design requires further refinement. Will be using flexible TPU filament to create a toothed tyre.
    • This picture shows the progression of the design. The red one was printed in PETG.
    • This is my design for a wing jig bracket. The brackets hold 1/4 inch piano wire rods.
    • Various iteration of my wing jig bracket printed in PETG. The calibration cube was printed to check tolerances. Was accurate to within 0.3mm
    • Motor mount redesigned to reduce drag and reduce parts count.
    • Motor mount cut from 3mm plywood sheet using CNC router
    • Plastic version of original CNC cut plywood design
    • Used fillets and lofting to achieve a more streamline shape
    • Final version of motor mount. Printed in PolyLite PETG filament.Frontal area minimised to reduce drag
    • 3D printed motor mount to replace CNC cut plywood mount

    • A view of the motor mount showing the internal "Infill" structure. This is set in the slicer settings. You can choose different infill pattern structures and vary how solid the part is.
